  • Season the steak generously with salt, pepper, and optional spices. This enhances flavor.
  • Lightly coat the steak with olive oil. Helps with even cooking.
  • Place the steak in the air fryer basket. Ensure it’s in a single layer.
  • Cook for 8-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway. Adjust time for your preference.
  • Check the internal temperature. Aim for 130-135°F for medium-rare. Use a meat thermometer.
  • Remove steak from the air fryer.
  • Let it rest for at least 5 minutes. Resting locks in juices.
  • Slice across the grain to serve. This makes it tender.
