Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker To mix and chill the ingredients.
  • Strainer To separate the liquid from the ice.
  • Martini glass For serving the cocktail.
  • Jigger For measuring ingredients.
  • Toothpick or cocktail pick For garnishing with lychee fruit.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz vodka: The base spirit for the cocktail.
  • 1 oz lychee liqueur: Adds sweetness and lychee flavor.
  • 1 oz lychee juice or puree: Enhances the fruitiness.
  • 1/2 oz lime juice: Provides a hint of acidity.
  • Lychee fruit: For garnish either fresh or canned.

Instructions
 

  • Fill your cocktail shaker half full with ice.
  • Add 2 oz vodka, 1 oz lychee liqueur, 1 oz lychee juice or puree, and 1/2 oz lime juice to the shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the mixture is icy cold.
  • Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
  • Garnish with lychee fruit on a toothpick or cocktail pick.
