Equipment

  • Saucepan For boiling water and spices.
  • Fine mesh strainer To filter out the spices and tea leaves.
  • Frother or whisk To froth the milk.
  • Measuring spoons For accuracy.
  • Mixing bowl For blending the spices.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Black tea bags
  • ¾ cup Water
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • Spices: Cinnamon 1 tsp, ginger (½ tsp), cardamom (½ tsp), cloves (¼ tsp), nutmeg (¼ tsp)
  • Sweetener: Brown sugar or honey to taste

Instructions
 

  • Boil water and spices: Combine water, tea bags, and spices in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags: Turn off the heat and remove the tea bags. Let it steep for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Heat milk: In another saucepan, heat the milk over medium-low heat. Avoid boiling.
  • Froth milk: Use a frother or whisk to froth the milk until it’s foamy.
  • Combine and serve: Strain the tea mixture into a mug, stir in vanilla extract and sweetener, and pour the frothed milk on top.
