  • Twenty ounces of all or grated mozzarella cheese
  • Fifteen ounces of Ricotta cheese
  • Eight ounces of dry unbroken lasagna noodles
  • Four ounces parmesan cheese that is freshly grated
  • Onions

  • Garlic
  • Bell pepper
  • Tomatoes
  • Parsley
  • Italian seasoning
  • Oregano
  • White/Red wine vinegar
  • Sugar
  • Olive Oil

Step 1: Allow Pasta Water to Boil

  • Set a big pot of water with measured salt in the cooker. The measurement of the salt should be one tablespoon of salt to two quarts of water.

This water will serve as your pasta water. While the water is boiling, prepare the sauce listed in the following steps.

Step 2: Brown Your Ground Beef

  • After your water has boiled, it is time to brown your ground beef.

  • You’ll need a 9 by 13-inch lasagna dish for this. A casserole dish would be okay as well.
  • Place a layer of your noodles lengthwise on one-third of your sauce. It’s no problem if their edges overlap.
  • One-third of the remaining sauce should be ladled onto your noodles.
  • Sprinkle one-third of your grated mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  • Next, add half of your ricotta cheese.
  • Then place your cheese dollops every few inches.
  • Over the ricotta cheese, sprinkle half of your grated Parmesan evenly.
  • Add your second layer of lasagna noodles
  • Spread half of your sauce over it
  • Put half of the leftover mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, and all of your Parmesan cheese.
  • Finally, place the third layer of lasagna noodles, and add leftover sauce and mozzarella cheese.

Step 8: Bake Your Lasagna

  • Your lasagna dish should be covered but slightly tented.
  • Bake your lasagna at 375° Fahrenheit for up to 45 minutes.
  • Uncover your lasagna during the final 10 minutes so that its top can crust evenly.
